To maintain a general familiarity with all products of the Bakery/Deli Department. To ensure that each request for Bakery/Deli Food Service is carried out accurately and efficiently. To provide superior customer service at the Bakery/Deli Department and ensure that customer’s needs have been met and the sale complete.
Prepare and sell food and drink items to customer from a Food Service Kitchen
Provide helpful and friendly service
Follows safety and sanitation procedures
Provide customer satisfaction by providing decorated cakes for purchase
Check for and replenish Bakery/Deli supplies throughout shift
Following baking instructions, bake pre-made goods in provided ovens
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to safely work with ovens, knives and other Bakery/Food Service department tools
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of ACC
Ability to be organized and maintain an area that is clean, safe and sanitary
Have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated, dependable, be a team player
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
Ability to work a flexible schedule with varying hours based on business needs
