Grocery Order Picker / Warehouse Associate

Location: 2000 Taylor Way, Tacoma, WA 98421 (Tideflats area)
Getting to Work: Our warehouse is located in Tacoma's Tideflats industrial area. Public transit is available via the Pierce Transit "Tideflats Runner," an on-demand shuttle service that connects riders from Tacoma Dome Station to Tideflats employers. Service runs 7 days per week from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Reports to: PNW Warehouse Manager
Rate of pay (depending on experience): $18.50+/hr.

About the Role

As an Order Picker/Warehouse Associate, you'll receive, organize, and prepare grocery and general merchandise orders for shipment from our Tacoma warehouse. Your work plays a key role in ensuring remote communities receive the products they rely on.

What You'll Do

• Receive and unload grocery and merchandise shipments
• Inspect freight for damage and verify quantities
• Move and organize inventory using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment
• Pick, label, and prepare orders for shipment
• Follow shipping regulations, including handling hazardous materials
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Support additional warehouse tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 months of related experience (warehouse experience preferred)
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, inventory systems)
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
